Jade Buddha Garden

The core Jade Buddha Pavilion is magnificent and resplendent with golden decorations. Housed inside is the jade Buddha statue featuring Sakyamuni and Guanyin Crossing the Sea, which weighs 260.76 tons. Integrated with seven natural colors, the statue boasts gorgeous hues, exquisite carving craftsmanship and stunning luster, winning a Guinness World Record.

A well-known tourist attraction in Anshan, Jade Buddha Garden lies in the core zone of Yufoshan Scenic Area, covering a land area of 270,000 square meters. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing water on the fourth, it is famous worldwide for enshrining the world’s largest jade Buddha.

Centered on the Jade Buddha Pavilion, the complex consists of the Heavenly King Hall, Sarira Hall, Medicine Buddha Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall and Arhat Sanctuary, integrating jade culture, Buddhist culture and mountain-garden landscape culture as a whole.

The grand Jade Buddha Pavilion shines brilliantly with golden ornamentation. The jade Buddha of Sakyamuni and Guanyin Crossing the Sea inside weighs 260.76 tons. Blended with seven natural colors, it features bright varied shades, delicate carving and magnificent radiance. It was awarded a Guinness World Record in November 1997.
