The canal starts at Caijiaping in the west and ends at Shahutan in the east, stretching 25 li long, with a depth of 1.5 metres and a width of 1 metre.
Following the Hutuo River, it winds its way through towering, densely wooded mountains, like a glistening white ribbon.
Diverted from the Hutuo River, the canal carries abundant water to irrigate more than 1,200 mu of farmland.
It not only relieved poor farmers from drought disasters during the war, but still brings tremendous benefits to local people today.
