Bu'ermen Scenic Area is a national forest park, a well-known scenic spot in Hunan Province, and also one of the province’s sacred Buddhist sites. It lies on the banks of the Mengdong River, 1.5 kilometers south of the county seat, covering a total area of 30 square kilometers and serving as the northern gateway to the Mengdong River Scenic Zone. It is famous for its exotic rock formations, hot springs, stone carvings and Guanyin worship.

The Bu'ermen Stone Gate, Lotus Pond and Bagua Maze, all shaped by limestone karst erosion, are hailed as masterpieces crafted by nature’s extraordinary craftsmanship. A stunning stone carving bears the four integrated characters "Clear Mountains, Azure Shores" merged into a single character "Shore", and the Bagua Maze nicknamed "Soul-Bewildering Formation" never fails to amaze visitors.

Lush greenery thrives here all year round, permeated by the lingering sound of Buddhist chants, making it an ideal retreat for self-cultivation and spiritual nourishment. Both the TV series Bandit Suppression on Wulong Mountain and Bandit Suppression in Western Hunan were shot on location here.
