Lead-Free Preserved Eggs with Pine Patterns
Yiyang lead-free preserved eggs have a soft, smooth texture without stickiness. Jade-white egg whites are dotted with pine needle-like patterns, while the yolks are brownish-green. Place all ingredients into a clay mortar, then grind them thoroughly with a round wooden pestle dipped in a little water until the mixture turns into a paste. It is a purely handmade, pollution-free green drink using home-produced farm ingredients, genuine and wholesome.
