Shunping County
Peach Blossom Festival
The Shunping Peach Blossom Festival is one of Baoding’s signature tourism events, held every April. While admiring blooming peach blossoms, visitors can pick greenhouse strawberries and fresh peaches, making it the top spring outing destination in early spring. During the festival, rural agritainment homestays and county hotels provide catering and accommodation services.

Baicaopan (Yesanpo Scenic Area)
The main peak of Baicaopan stands at an altitude of 1,983 meters. The scenic area boasts abundant flora and fauna, including 15 vertebrate species under national key protection.
In this season, spring sprouts and blooming flowers carpet the foothills, while glaciers over 100 meters long still linger on the mountain tops. This rare contrasting landscape is well worth exploring!

Yishui Lake (Yi County)

Western Qing Tombs (Yi County)
The Western Qing Tombs house the mausoleums of four emperors starting from Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty. Covering a construction area of over 50,000 square meters, the complex includes more than 1,000 palace halls and over 100 stone carvings and stone structures, forming a grand, resplendent ancient architectural cluster.
Visiting the tombs to pay tribute to ancestors makes a meaningful trip during the Qingming Festival.

Wangkuai Reservoir (Fuping County)
Jagged strange peaks line the riverbanks of Wangkuai Reservoir, shaded by lush green trees. The reservoir surface ripples with clear blue water, where fish and shrimp dart about and waterfowl sing and soar. Surrounding the reservoir are numerous historical sites such as Emperor Kangxi’s Fishing Platform, Lord Laozi Hall, Double Dragon Cave and Grandma Temple.
