Langya Mountain is situated on the eastern foot of the Taihang Mountains, 45 kilometers southwest of Yi County under Baoding’s jurisdiction, and also 45 kilometers away from downtown Baoding.
The mountain consists of five massifs and thirty-six peaks. Its main peak, Lianhuaban (Lotus Petal Peak), stands at an altitude of 1,105 meters. Steep cliffs stretch thousands of feet on its northwest sides, while the southeast slopes are gentler, with a narrow winding mountain path leading to the summit on each side.
Standing on high ground and gazing far into the distance, countless rolling ridges resemble surging ocean waves. Up close, naturally formed stone forests rise on both sides. The Greater and Lesser Lotus Peaks look like lotus flowers emerging from water, blooming gracefully amid mist-shrouded Sword Gorge, creating an unfathomable, magical landscape.
