Xingtai Potstickers

Xingtai potstickers rank among the top ten famous local snacks in Hebei Province.
In 1934, Zhang Hanying, a chef from Nangong who worked for Feng Yuxiang, passed through Xingtai with the army. He opened a restaurant named Liuheju in the South Gate Market of Xingtai, specializing exclusively in potstickers. Crispy on the outside and tender inside, fragrant yet not greasy, the dish soon became famous throughout the Ox City (Xingtai).

Daokou Braised Chicken

Xingtai Daokou braised chicken is a renowned meat specialty in Xingtai, Hebei Province.
It won the First Prize of Hebei Provincial Food Award as early as 1959, and was named a famous meat product of Hebei in 1980.
The braised chicken originated from Daokou Town in Henan Province, as a branch of the well-known Yixingzhang braised chicken from Daokou.
It features a neat and attractive shape with pale red and light yellow skin. The meat is tender, juicy and full of flavor. It can stay fresh in both color and taste for 2 to 5 days, and lasts even longer in winter.

Longyao Mutton Soup

In Longyao County on the southern Hebei Plain of North China, you can sip a bowl of authentic Longyao mutton soup and enjoy its rich, fresh and mellow taste.

Heijia Dumplings

Heijia Dumplings of Xingtai have thin wrappers and generous fillings with a distinctive taste.
With a history of more than seventy years, this time-honored brand has kept its rich original flavor despite decades of ups and downs, standing as an old and reputable restaurant in Xingtai’s catering industry.

Guangzong Thin Pancakes

Guangzong thin pancakes are also known as wind-blown oil pancakes.
The name comes from their extreme thinness. A pancake with a diameter of 45 centimeters weighs only 150 to 200 grams.
Golden, translucent and evenly thin, they look appetizing. Above all, they smell wonderful and taste soft and delicious
