Hangda Waterfall Group

Hidden away in Hangda Hamlet east of Rongdu Town lies the spectacular Hangda Waterfall Group. Stepping into this scenic spot, you will be greeted by thin mist and murmuring streams, just like meeting a graceful lady who looks charming with either light or heavy makeup.

The waterfall group consists of nine terraced cascades with a total drop of nearly 350 metres and a width of around 100 metres. The current flows alternately fast and slow, separating and merging repeatedly as it winds through thick bushes. When the water plunges off the cliffs, it crashes down in splashes of silver spray. Looking upward from below, it is just like a broken pearl curtain, with countless pearls falling onto a jade plate. The gentle, long-drawn roar of flowing water lingers in the valley.

Amid blooming flowers and hovering birds, the scenery takes on new looks with the changing seasons, offering endless breathtaking views.
