Tourist Attractions: Provincial Cultural Heritage Sites & Historic Towns and Villages
The county has 29 cultural relic tourist attractions, including 1 provincial-level cultural relic protection site, 2 prefecture-level cultural relic protection units, and 2 Paleolithic prehistoric sites.
Many Ming Dynasty tombs have been discovered along the Shuangjiang Estuary and the North-South Panjiang River. The Qing Dynasty tomb groups on Chunchangpo and the Hui ethnic tomb group on Qinglong Mountain, together with a large number of unearthed bronze wares, bear distinct features of Yelang Culture.
Relics left by the Red Army’s Long March, the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Liberation War in Pomei, Weipang, Ceyang, Ba’en and Badu have been well preserved, along with their cultural relics and resources.
