Lindian Northern Hot Spring Happy Valley Scenic Area is situated in the southern new district of Lindian County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. Covering a total land area of 80,000 square meters with a total construction area of 76,716 square meters, the project involved a total investment of 526 million yuan. The scenic area opened for trial operation on September 18, 2013. The whole park consists of five functional zones with sixty-eight scenic spots, making it the largest indoor and outdoor children’s amusement park in Lindian County.

The park is divided into tranquil zones and dynamic zones. The tranquil section encompasses five parts: the Prayer Zone, Zen Realm, Buddhist Boat, outdoor hot spring experience area, and Suzhou-style classical garden hot spring club. The dynamic section includes Dinosaur Exploration, hot spring culture animation theme park, outdoor children’s playground, and Hawaiian hot spring beach.

Dynamic and tranquil scenes interweave and echo each other throughout the park. A plesiosaur-shaped shuttle corridor connects the two zones and serves as the landmark building of the entire theme park. Key facilities inside the scenic area include Northern Sanya Hot Spring — China’s first and largest indoor off-season tourist landscape, open-air hot spring seashore, indoor children’s playground, hot spring Terracotta Army art landscape, interactive dinosaur science popularization park, Ruyi Island, Zigzag Bridge, and hot spring animation attractions.

In addition, Lindian Northern Hot Spring Happy Valley will construct two landmark buildings of Lindian: a 22-story hot spring mansion and a VIP reception & conference center featuring distinctive Huizhou and Anhui architectural charm.
