In the 25th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1760), Li Qichang, the subprefect, erected the platform in memory of Wu Xishi.
To the south of the platform lie Wu Xishi’s tomb and the ruins of the Martyrs’ Shrine, while the tomb of heroic martyrs stands on the eastern side.
A stone stele rises in the centre of the platform, measuring 1.5 metres in height, 0.87 metres in width and 0.28 metres in thickness.
