Wuzhiyan Scenic Area sits in the northernmost part of Yongkang, 21.5 kilometres from the urban area. Covering 5 square kilometres, its main peak stands at an altitude of 712 metres. The mountain soars abruptly from the ground with sheer cliff faces as if carved by blades, presenting a magnificent and imposing sight known as "Five Fingers Reaching for Clouds". At dawn, mist shrouds the peaks amid rosy glow; at dusk, the entire range is bathed in sunset radiance, making it an ideal spot to climb high and gaze far into the distance for total relaxation.
Acting as a natural barrier to northern Yongkang, Wuzhiyan gets its name from its five finger-shaped rock formations wrapped in layers of mist and dense forest. Rising steeply skyward with vertical, knife-cut precipices, it bears the spectacular moniker "Five Fingers Reaching for Clouds" and ranks among the Ten Sights of Yongkang.
The scenic zone consists of three major sub-areas: Mipu, Taoyan and Zhifeng, alongside nearby attractions including Jiuxie Shoal and Shiniu Mountain.
