National Canoe Slalom Training Base

Designated by the General Administration of Sport of China, this is currently the only national winter training base for canoe slalom in China. It also served as the official training venue for canoe slalom events of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the Asian qualification competition venue for canoe slalom ahead of the 2012 London Olympic Games.

The base is fully equipped with complete supporting facilities. A plastic sports field and an indoor constant-temperature swimming pool have been newly added in recent years, making it the most all-round comprehensive leisure and sports zone for athletic events in Panzhihua.
