It is about 16 kilometers from Yongxing Town to Qinghe Township.

Qinghe lies on the vital passage linking Panzhihua and Lugu Lake, and Provincial Highway S216 runs straight through it. Covering an area of around 16 square kilometers, the township boasts abundant natural resources including canyons, karst caves, cascading waterfalls and mountain streams. Its major scenic spots include Immortal Cave, Qinghe Waterfalls and One-Line Sky.
