Oufang Campsite → Ertan Dam

The distance from Oufang Campsite to Ertan Dam is about 5 kilometers. Completed in 1998, Ertan Dam is a huge double-curvature arch dam standing 240 meters high, ranking as the tallest arch dam in Asia. The entire Ertan Hydropower Project was China’s largest hydropower station finished in the 20th century.

The Ertan High Dam Scenic Area unfolds like a naturally blended landscape scroll, offering visitors a brand-new impression of Panzhihua.
