Qiangezhuang Longshan Cultural Site

The site lies 50 meters southwest of Qiangezhuang Village in Beimeng Town, south of the urban area. It stretches 100 meters from east to west and covers an area of 20,000 square meters. The northeastern part of the site is slightly elevated and adjoins Qiangezhuang Village, while the southwestern part is relatively low-lying.

Most unearthed pottery here is plain sand-tempered black pottery. Archaeologists have discovered one tile-shaped leg, sand-tempered red pottery, spade-shaped vessel legs and other artifacts. The cultural deposits are not abundant with limited exposed relics. Fragments of plain sand-tempered black pottery were once excavated and identified as relics of the Longshan Culture, proving that human settlements existed here more than 4,000 years ago.
