Osmanthus Hall

Location: Inside the office garden of Jingcheng Subdistrict, Jingjiang City Period: The 18th year of the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1838 AD)

Brief Introduction Osmanthus Hall is situated in Jingjiang People’s Park. In 1838, Xuchun, the abbot monk, raised alms funds to renovate the Scripture Repository, Mahavira Hall, Vajra Hall, the Hall of Heng and Ha Guardians, as well as the east and west side halls in front of the Scripture Repository, and constructed Osmanthus Hall during the project. Osmanthus Hall stands side by side closely with Plum Blossom Pavilion.
