Brief Introduction
Qinglong Temple of Jingjiang was originally built in the Ming Dynasty. It suffered severe damage during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the Chinese People’s Liberation War. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Party and the government attached great importance to religious undertakings. After 1995, the government restored the surviving stone carvings on the original temple site. The present Qinglong Temple adopts an architectural style imitating the Ming Dynasty, featuring graceful bucket arches and soaring upturned roof corners that present a majestic and upright appearance.
