The most striking sight here is two ancient trees over 500 years old locked in a tight embrace: one is a tall and erect masson pine, and the other is a graceful chinquapin tree. This romantic pairing stirs boundless imagination among visitors, who always stop to take photos. Unmarried travellers pray to meet their soulmate; newlyweds wish for everlasting marital bliss; couples celebrating their silver or golden wedding anniversaries pray for good health and a lifelong companionship until old age.

Nearby lie the ruins of an ancient temple, with weathered stone benches, stone incense burners and remnant roof structures still remaining. The temple is surrounded by more than ten ancient Chinese yews aged over 300 years, maple trees over 800 years old, and yulan magnolias with a history of more than 300 years.

This grove stands in front of the thousand-year-old dragon pine on much lower ground. Local villagers say the trees resemble civil and military officials lined up in the imperial golden palace.

The most marvellous sight is a pair of naturally formed stone tiger tallies. Symbolising imperial authority and command over troops, they mirror the ancient military tally system. Born as a matching pair by nature, each stone forms an independent scenic view, a natural landscape and an individual poem. Every rock presents a unique world, composing a melody of natural beauty.

More than ten ancient maple and chestnut trees over 300 years old grow here, including a 500-year-old five-lobed maple. Most notably, a 500-year-old vine twists tightly around a Chinese yew of the same age. The yew grows firmly straight out of bare rock. Many tourists remark that its base bears a striking resemblance to the Mother Earth figure. Several wild yulan magnolias aged over 300 years dot the surroundings.

Local villagers hold a folk belief about this thousand-year-old dragon pine: walk clockwise three times around the trunk, then press your palms together against the bark, and you will receive blessings and good fortune from the dragon deity.

Others say the pine sits right on the dragon vein. Having stood tall through centuries of vicissitudes, it deserves the name Dragon Tree or Imperial Tree.

Fifty metres ahead stands an even taller masson pine piercing the clouds, just like the Divine Ocean-stabilizing Needle from Journey to the West. Though towering, its bark retains ordinary pine texture without dragon-scale patterns. Locals call it the Imperial Uncle, with four ancient masson pines standing around it as his generals. The whole group forms a small retinue guarding the imperial centre, assisting the emperor in ruling the land.

Water plunges down a sheer cliff as if spat out by a green dragon, scattering sprays all over the mountain valley. When the torrent crashes into the pool below, countless silver water columns surge upward, bursting into silvery fireworks in a spectacular display.

The rushing current flows down like a silver satin or a wisp of sheer gauze. When wind sweeps across, the spray turns into drifting mist, and water droplets fall like white plum blossoms and fine drizzle. Wind whips up thousands of water particles, rising slowly like thin smoke and spreading soft fog across the air.

The pure white waterfall looks like a troop of naughty children. They leap barefoot merrily down from the mountain top and scatter in all directions the moment they hit the ground, just like blooming white lotuses.

Standing before the waterfall, you hear the roaring current rolling down the precipice, playing a grand natural symphony.
