Take a bus from the county bus station to Xiaofeng Town, then transfer to another bus bound for Longwang Mountain in Zhangcun.

Longwang Mountain Nature Reserve sits in the southern part of Zhangcun Township, Anji County. Straddling the border of three counties across two provinces — Anji, Lin’an and Ningguo — Longwang Mountain is hailed as "the Premier Peak of the Tianmu Mountains", with its main summit reaching an altitude of 1,587.5 meters.

Longwang Mountain features precipitous terrain dotted with grotesque rock formations and sheer vertical cliffs, boasting more than ten exquisite natural scenic spots, including Immortal’s Cave, Dragon Head Waterfall, Cloud Dragon Flying Waterfall, Dripping Water Wearing Through Stone, Immortal Sawing Stone Slabs and Water Mill Rock, each accompanied by time-honored, fascinating folk legends.

The mountain boasts luxuriant vegetation and a well-balanced ecosystem. Wherever you wander, clusters of splendid Rhododendron fortunei bloom all over the slopes, while warblers sing melodiously deep within the thick woods. It harbors an abundant diversity of flora and fauna. Surveys and appraisals have identified 668 species across 406 genera and 138 families. Dozens of rare precious tree species under Class II and Class III national protection grow here, and rare wild animals such as milu deer, sika deer and giant salamanders occasionally roam the area. As visitors climb higher, they will feel detached from the mortal world, immersed in an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere.

The mountain’s weather shifts endlessly, like a colorful kaleidoscope. At times, mist and clouds surge forth, scattering across deep gullies and vast valleys just like celestial maidens strewing blossoms, shrouding everything in a thin veil of hazy smoke. In the blink of an eye, the mist disperses, revealing layered green peaks and crystal clear streams amid flourishing foliage. Visitors can experience the aesthetic charm captured by Guo Xi’s verse: When clouds roll in, mountains grow more enchanting; when clouds drift away, mountains stand as a painted scroll. Mountains brighten and dim with the passing clouds; clouds rise and fall guided by mountain ridges.
