Jiangnan Tianchi Ski Resort is the only outdoor winter ski resort in regions south of the Yangtze River. The Jiangnan Tianchi Popular Science Astronomy Base is a joint project co-developed by Jiangnan Tianchi and the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
