Tianmu · North Water City Hot Spring Resort (Shandong)

Tianmu · North Water City Hot Spring Resort in Shandong is a national AAAA-level scenic area. Nestled in Majia River Forest Farm of Guanxian County with abundant ecological resources, it is only 18 kilometres from downtown Liaocheng, 98 kilometres east to Jinan and 130 kilometres west to Handan, enjoying exceptionally advantageous transportation and geographical conditions.
Famed as "Ecological Garden Hot Spring of the Water City in Northern China", it is an all-in-one tourist resort integrating hot spring wellness, business conferences, leisure and entertainment, and featured delicacies.
The resort was developed in two phases, covering a total area of more than 660 mu with a total investment of approximately 220 million RMB. Centred on the philosophy of "soaking in garden hot springs, breathing fresh air, staying in water-view guestrooms and eating organic food", it is the largest ecological garden resort in western Shandong that caters to dining, accommodation, sightseeing, recreation and shopping.
The Phase I project focuses on hot spring health preservation and water park facilities, including catering services, guestrooms, hot spring pools, conference venues, outward-bound training, fitness facilities and recuperation programmes.
The hot spring water surges from more than 1,700 metres underground, with a daily output of 7,000 tons and a constant water temperature of around 57°C all year round.
Research shows that the hot spring contains 70 to 90 milligrams of soluble silicon dioxide per litre, meeting the national classification standard for siliceous hot springs.
Rich in silicic acid and 48 trace elements beneficial to human health, the colourless and odourless spring water has fine texture and produces remarkable curative effects on the skin, cardiovascular system, digestive system, urinary system and other body functions.
Thanks to its abundant mineral content, mild water quality and sufficient water reserves, it is a rare wellness hot spring in North China.
The completed hot spring facilities include a 6,990-square-metre indoor hot spring hall with 25 themed pools, such as fish spa, traditional Chinese herbal pools, beauty & skincare pools and SPA hydrotherapy pools.
The 13,500-square-metre outdoor open-air hot spring zone features over 30 functional baths including global-style baths, karst cave hot springs and the Eight Tai Chi Medicinal Ponds.
Meanwhile, internationally popular water amusement facilities are introduced, such as python water slides, water seesaws, countercurrent swimming pools and functional soaking pools, allowing guests to enjoy endless fun amid dynamic and quiet activities.
Every hot spring pool adopts the popular circulating water system with continuous water injection and natural overflow. The pools are drained, cleaned and disinfected in order every day to guarantee stable water quality and sanitation.
The hot spring zone is also equipped with dry saunas, wet saunas and a gym.
On the second floor of the hot spring centre lie aromatherapy rooms, beauty salons, chess & card rooms, massage parlours, an internet bar and luxurious lounges. Fresh fruits and assorted drinks are provided free of charge in the lounge for guests to relax after hot spring bathing.
More than 200 lakeside guestrooms are harmoniously built alongside water landscapes.
Standing by the window, you are greeted by cool breezes and lush green scenery outside, paired with refined furnishings inside.
The floral quilt covers, jacquard bedside lamps and simple tidy layout create a warm homely atmosphere.
All guestrooms are equipped with private hot spring water and adopt advanced geothermal heating technology. The temperature gradually drops from feet to head, which fully conforms to the traditional Chinese medicine health principle of "warm feet and cool head" and brings excellent healthcare effects.
Tianmu Conference Centre houses one grand conference hall seating 400 people and six medium and small meeting rooms. With premium audio equipment and complete supporting facilities, it is an ideal venue for corporate meetings, musical galas and theatrical performances.
Between hot spring sessions, you can taste unique forest wild vegetables and game from Majia River Forest Farm in our eco-friendly restaurant. The original local dishes are presented in elegant Han and Tang Dynasty styles.
Slow-cooked clay pot dishes, medicinal casseroles, shark fin, bird’s nest and abalone are each accompanied by historical stories, bringing you an unforgettable culinary feast.
The all-day dining hall can accommodate up to 380 guests for grand banquets.
In addition, more than 20 luxurious private boxes with exquisite decoration are perfect for family gatherings and business dinners.
The exclusive VIP Club stands amid the blue waves of Tianmu Lake. Surrounded by woods and water, this top-tier club brings you serene peace just as depicted in the ancient poem: Wind sweeps the water palace, carrying subtle fragrance everywhere.
The Chinese-style mansion blends profound humanistic culture with hot spring wellness, embodying the poetic beauty of Pear blossoms bathe the courtyard in pale moonlight.
The private villas let you stroll near water and trees while gazing freely at floating clouds in the distance, building a brand-new leisure experience.
The premium hot spring SPA provides intimate one-on-one services, including professional health examinations and custom herbal soaking programmes tailored exclusively for your wellness journey.
