Lizhai Scenery

Lizhai boasts distinctive views all year round. As a saying goes: enjoy blooming flowers in spring and rippling waters in summer, and get intoxicated by osmanthus fragrance in autumn. In the second and third lunar months, Lizhai is already brimming with spring vitality. Though it is not yet the peak tourist season, it is the perfect time to admire peach blossoms.

Peach blossoms in Lizhai do not carpet the entire mountainside, yet once spring arrives, blooming peach trees dot every corner of the First Bend of the Qin River. The peach trees growing along the river are especially charming. Their bright reflections hang upside down in the water, drawing schools of fish to chase and frolic below. It perfectly captures the poetic scene: Peach blossoms fall with the flowing stream; fat mandarin fish swim beneath.

At the foot of mountains and along the riverbank nest ancient villages with whitewashed walls and black tiles. Mountains and rivers complement each other, forming a peaceful rustic land filled with idyllic pastoral beauty.

Blossoms are mirrored in the clear water. Far away from the bustling neon lights of the city, visitors can calm their souls and savour spring and life to the fullest.
