Yushan Han Dynasty Tomb Group

The tomb group spreads over the hillsides around Yushan Mountain in Guoshankou Village, Huji Town, Jinxiang County. It originally covered an area of 30,000 square metres, with 8,000 square metres still preserved. The relics date from the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty.

During a cultural relic survey in the spring of 1981, a Han stone stele inscribed with texts to ward off robbers was unearthed here. It has been designated a National Grade One Cultural Relic.

A large number of pottery wares were excavated. The rims of these pottery pieces were gilded, and many were large ritual and daily vessels. Featuring high standards and exquisite craftsmanship, they reflect the extravagant lifestyle of local nobles and upper-class people of that era.

On March 17, 1992, the site was listed as a County-level Cultural Relic Protection Unit by the People's Government of Jinxiang County.
