Longzhong Academy

Longzhong Academy was first constructed during the Tianfu reign of the Five Dynasties, originally named Wuling King Academy of Learning. At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Guangde Temple Academy was relocated to Longzhong and merged with the original academy, collectively known as Longzhong Academy ever since.

Covering a land area of 3,600 square meters with a construction area of 1,123.44 square meters, the academy consists of six exhibition halls: the Preface Hall, Aspiration Hall, Diligence in Governance Hall, Integrity Hall, Admonitions for Sons Hall and Outlook Hall. It comprehensively depicts Zhuge Liang’s entire life, recreating his deeds and philosophies spanning personal self-improvement through ambition, diligent and upright state governance, and family education for his children.
