Day 1: Meet the group in Lu’an in the afternoon and check into the hotel. Overnight: Lu’an

Day 2: After breakfast, drive to West Anhui Great Rift Valley (around 40 minutes’ drive; 1.5 hours for sightseeing). Visit King’s Well, King-Hiding Rock, First Gate, Second Gate and Third Gate. After lunch, head to East Stone Shoot Scenic Area to tour Jade Zither Lake Zone featuring Jade Spring Waterfall and Jade Plate Lake, as well as Small Lotus Platform Zone, Triple Cascade Waterfall Zone, Jade Emperor Summit Zone, Twin Immortals Stockade Zone, Jade Guanyin Zone and other scenic spots. Then drive back to Lu’an (around 1.5 hours). Overnight: Lu’an

Day 3: After breakfast, tour Wanfo Lake Scenic Area (about 3 hours). Take a boat cruise to visit Wanfo Island, Golden Coast, Swallow Island, Huicui Forest and other islets. After lunch, drive back to Lu’an to send off the group and conclude this pleasant trip!

Day 2: After breakfast, drive to Sanhe Water Town (about 1 hour’s drive). Spend roughly 2.5 hours visiting Fengle River, Hangbu River, South Minor River, Prince Ying Mansion, Quezhu Covered Bridge, One-Person Lane, Former Residence of Yang Zhenning, Anhui No.1 Folk Custom Museum, Sun Zhongde Memorial Hall and Liu Tongxing Merchant Manor, and soak up the quaint charm of small bridges, flowing streams and waterside dwellings. After lunch, tour Wanfo Lake Scenic Area for 3 hours. Boasting vast shimmering blue waters, Wanfo Lake integrates mountains, waters, islets, shoals, ponds, forests, flowers, grasses, fish and insects into a colorful earthly paradise. Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Zhangdian Town (around 40 minutes’ drive) and visit Dabie Mountain Grottoes Scenic Area (about 3 hours). Key highlights include primeval ecological forests, golden nanmu woods and the natural grand canyon — Hundred-Step Cloud Ladder. Admire hundreds-of-millions-year-old grotto clusters and unique geological wonders across peaks and secluded valleys crafted exquisitely by nature. Listen to serene Buddhist chants, visit an ancient royal temple, taste Zen tea from Heavenly Buddha, and enjoy rustic farm food. Walk along the landscape viewing plank road to behold unparalleled natural marvels. Six unsolved mysteries await your exploration: Divine Wild Chives on Cliff, ancient grotto dwelling ruins, distinctive geological formations, mysterious cliff clay coffins, ancient city wall relics and thousand-year-old wooden stakes embedded in cliffs. Day 3: After breakfast, drive to Zhangdian Town (around 40 minutes’ drive) and visit West Anhui Great Rift Valley, the site of the crucial Zhangdian Campaign during the Liu-Deng Army’s march into the Dabie Mountains (2 hours for sightseeing). Formerly named King-Hiding Rock, the scenic area still preserves relics including three pass gates, General’s Platform, Grain Storage Cave and King-Hiding Rock. Traverse the rift valley to witness nature’s extraordinary craftsmanship. Spectacular sights such as Sky Crack, General’s Platform, Cave Palace (King-Hiding Rock), Clear Water Pool, Mushroom Rock, Three Gates, Echo Wall, Treasure Chamber, Sky Peeping Cliff, Heavenly Staircase and Majestic Rock will amaze every visitor. Jagged rocks, gurgling springs, exotic flowers and herbs, elegant green bamboos, fiery red maples and various wild birds and beasts can be seen everywhere. After lunch, drive back to Lu’an to send off the group and wrap up this delightful trip!
