The Nanning-Youyiguan Expressway and National Highway 322 run through the whole area. Secondary highways connect all counties and cities. It takes roughly one hour to drive from all five counties and one city to downtown Chongzuo. The drive from Chongzuo to Nanning also lasts only one hour. The high-grade seaway highway from Chongzuo to Fangchenggang is just over 180 kilometres long. The Nanning-Youyiguan Expressway links up with Vietnam's National Highway 1.

The international railway from Nanning to Youyiguan runs across Fusui, Daxin, Tiandeng, Ningming, Longzhou, Jiangzhou and Pingxiang. It connects with Vietnam's railway at Youyiguan Pass in Pingxiang City. Passengers and cargo can travel directly to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, linking the region with all ASEAN countries.

The Zuojiang Golden Waterway within the territory is navigable all the way to Guangzhou and Hong Kong. Fangchenggang, the nearest seaport, is merely 170 kilometres away, connected by a secondary highway.

Two airports are available: Nanning Wuxu International Airport and Ningming Military-Civil Joint-use Airport. It takes about 40 minutes to drive from downtown Chongzuo to Nanning Wuxu International Airport, while the journey from neighbouring Fusui County takes only 30 minutes.

The Grotesque Rock Beach lies in front of Dengjia Ridge on Jiangshan Peninsula. It is a marine abrasion landform formed by years of coastal wave erosion. The rocks are reddish-brown, hence its alternative name "Marine Red Cliff".

Steep cliffs rise high above the beach, with countless oddly-shaped rock formations vividly carved by nature. Some resemble wild beasts, some look like flowers and trees, some take the shape of battle arrays, and others form labyrinths. The most lifelike formations include "Pen Rack Mountain", "Golden Tortoise Gazing out to Sea", "Kangaroo Watching the Waves", "Crocodile Diving", "Lion Guarding the Coastal Frontier" and "Mushroom Rock". Every rock is exquisitely shaped and deeply captivating.

At high tide, visitors can witness the magnificent spectacle: jagged rocks pierce the sky, huge waves crash against the cliffs and churn up mountains of white foam.
