Transportation Guide

Guang’an boasts an extensive highway network. Both the total mileage and average density of highways within the district exceed the national and Sichuan provincial averages.
The Guang’an–Linshui section of the Guang’an–Chongqing Expressway is open to traffic, and the remaining sections were fully completed before 2004. It takes only one hour to drive from Guang’an to Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport, enabling seamless connections with air travel.
After the Guang’an–Nanchong section of the Shanghai–Chengdu Expressway opened in 2004, the drive from Guang’an to Chengdu was shortened to merely 2.5 hours. The planned Nanchong–Chongqing Expressway will run through Wusheng County.
Upon its completion, every county, city and district under Guang’an will be connected to the national expressway network, and Guang’an will be integrated into the Chengdu–Chongqing–Shanghai tourism economic belt.
Three national highways (G210, G212, G337) and four provincial highways including the Shizhu–Nanchong Highway pass through Guang’an, alongside two county-level highways: Yuechi–Wusheng Road and Guang’an–Wusheng Road. Crisscrossing national, provincial and county highways form a "three horizontal and four vertical" transportation system centered on railways and highways.
Today, it takes at most 30 minutes by car from downtown Guang’an to any subordinate county, city or district, a well-known local transport initiative dubbed the "Half-Hour Access Project".

Scenic Spot Introduction

Zhu Mountain is located at Group 6, Village 4, Wenfeng Township alongside the Jialing River. It gets its name for its pig-like landform. The mountain is covered with mature pine forests, drawing numerous tourists every spring. The People’s Government of Wenfeng Township plans to develop Zhu Mountain into a forest park.
Across the stream from Zhu Mountain stands the Qilin Longevity Garden. It was built as a base for Zhong Gong in July 1990, after Mr. Zhang Hongbao arrived in Guocheng. Local followers of Zhong Gong in Nanchong constructed the site based on his inscription "Promote Zhong Gong, Benefit Northern Sichuan". Mr. Zhang invested huge sums to build schools, activity halls, supporting living facilities, sports fields and landscaped gardens. The complex served as a comprehensive venue for Zhong Gong teaching, qigong healing, physical exercise and leisure tourism.

Important Note

Zhong Gong is a cult organization banned by the state. The translation retains the original text only for literal conversion, and firmly opposes all cult-related activities.
