Ancient Tengzhou Area

Lianqing Mountain is situated in Dongguo Town, about 20 kilometers northeast of Tengzhou City. It features 99 steep peaks rolling across dozens of square kilometers. The mountain is covered with blooming flowers and lush forests, dotted with exotic grotesque stones and crisscrossed by deep, precipitous valleys. Nearly 100 species of birds and wild animals inhabit and chirp here.

Deep in the mountain lie scenic and historical sites including the relics of the Imperial City, the ruins of Jade Maiden City, the Great Temple Site, Gaozuizi Mountain, East Valley Mountain and West Valley Mountain. The "Twin Green Peaks of the Valley" ranks among the Eight Ancient Sights of Tengzhou. Boasting magnificent scenery and profound cultural heritage, Lianqing Mountain Ecotourism Zone is a place where visitors linger on and forget to leave.
