It is located in the western part of Heze City with convenient transport. Take Bus No. 2 or No. 4 and alight at Xiguan Hospital Stop, then walk 500 meters east to reach the scenic spot on the south bank of Youth Lake.

Founded in October 1985, Caozhou Painting & Calligraphy Academy sits in Heze, the world-famous hometown of peonies. Covering a total land area of 16,000 square meters with a construction area of 9,000 square meters, the complex consists of exhibition halls, creation buildings, Zhao Dengyu Memorial Hall, Caozhou Painting & Calligraphy Exhibition Gallery, and the nationally renowned Caozhou Stele Corridor. It is hailed as "an unparalleled palace of painting", as well as "a base of national culture and a shrine of painting and calligraphy art".

Inside the courtyard, winding rattan corridors, pavilions, rockeries and fountains set off each other beautifully. Pine and bamboo trees stand in elegant shapes, while hundreds of flowers bloom in full splendor. The serene and elegant environment is perfect for painting and calligraphy creation.

Caozhou Painting & Calligraphy Academy is currently the largest painting and calligraphy academy at the prefecture-level city level nationwide, and its stele corridor ranks the longest of its kind across the country. As a key exhibition venue in Heze, it hosts multiple painting and calligraphy exhibitions every year.
