Heze Museum is located in the Development Zone along East Zhonghua Road, adjacent to Mudan Hotel, a three-star hotel. Covering a land area of 13,000 square meters with a construction area of 5,600 square meters, the museum was built with a total investment of nearly 10 million RMB. It merged with Mudan District Museum in 2001.

The main building features an innovative and grand design with distinctive modern architectural styles, adding a brand-new landmark to the ancient city of Caozhou. Since its opening, the museum has hosted more than one hundred large-scale exhibitions including cultural relic displays, painting and calligraphy shows, and photo exhibitions, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors and winning wide popularity among the public.
