Peacock Mountain Scenic Area is situated in Xingjiayu Village, Xueye Township, in central Shandong at the northeastern foot of Mount Tai. It borders the Great Wall of the State of Qi to the north, Dazhou Mountain to the west, Xuanyang Diaogu Mountain to the south, and Xueye Lake as well as Ma'an Mountain to the east. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and a lake on the fourth, it enjoys an excellent geographical layout.

The tourist zone stretches 4.3 kilometers from east to west and 5.2 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of 22.36 square kilometers. The terrain slopes gently in the east and rises steeply in the west, with an altitude ranging from 306 meters at its lowest point to 800 meters at the highest peak.

The scenic area features towering peaks and exotic rock formations, including Dazhou Mountain, Xuanyang Diaogu Mountain, Black Mountain and Ridge Roof. Streams run clear all year round beneath thick canopies of green trees dotted with blooming flowers. Over a hundred species of birds and wild animals inhabit the land. The air here is fresh and free from noise and environmental pollution. With crystal-clear waters and rolling green hills, abundant natural resources and outstanding local people, the area feels like an unspoiled paradise once you step inside. Locals are simple and honest, and public security is well maintained. Elegant and unique attractions including Immortal Pavilion, Longevity Forest, Chaoyang Cave, Lover’s Hut, the ruins of an old ordnance factory, Mountain Spring Pavilion, Sky Crack and a deer farm keep visitors lingering.
