Scenic Spot Introduction
Also known as Dulin Bridge, Dulin Dengying Bridge stands in the heart of Dulin Town, Cang County. Constructed in the 22nd year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty (1594), this three-span open-spandrel stone arch bridge cost 20,000 taels of silver to build.
In the 20th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty, severe floods of the Hutuo River destroyed two arches on the western side. From 1907, a local resident named Wang Yintong spent six years completing the renovation.
Built entirely of stone, the bridge is supported by stone piers. It is 66 meters long, 7.8 meters wide and 9 meters high, with each arch having a clear span of 11.3 meters. The parapets and balusters are decorated with exquisite relief carvings of human figures, monkeys, lions and other patterns, featuring fine craftsmanship and vivid shapes. It is designated as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the Provincial Level.
