Sihong is the birthplace of the surname Xu and the site of the ancient State of Xu. Located on Guxu Avenue in Sihong County, the Ancient Xu Pavilion Scenic Area covers a land area of 296 mu, divided into three major sections: the Eastern Zone, the Western Zone and the Core Zone. It is currently the only comprehensive experience center for ancient Xu culture in China.
The Core Zone of the scenic area spans around 81 mu, centered on the main pavilion building with seven floors. The construction area totals approximately 7,155 square meters, and the overall height of the building reaches nearly 61.649 meters. Through a great number of precious historical relics and various themed exhibition halls, the venue fully presents the lineage of Xu culture rooted in benevolence, and tells the historical stories of monarchs of the State of Xu such as King Yan of Xu, as well as renowned figures of the Xu clan throughout dynasties.
