Pona Hamlet

Pona Hamlet of Baima Village, Jiazhuan Town lies in the northwest of Bama County beside the Bafeng Class II Highway. It is 15 kilometers away from the county seat and 3 kilometers from the township government. Nestled between mountains and rivers, the hamlet features gentle terrain, fertile land and broad views with convenient transportation. As one of the longevity hamlets along the Panyang River, it has been designated a Demonstration Site for Agricultural Tourism in Guangxi and a Demonstration Site for Poverty Alleviation through Tourism in Bama County. In 2014, it was rated a Four-Star Rural Tourism Zone of Guangxi.

Pona Hamlet sits within the core longevity zone of Bama and serves as a major gathering place for seasonal sojourners from other regions. Since 2004, guided by advanced agritainment design concepts, the hamlet has fully consolidated land resources with unified planning by planning authorities.
