Zhuer Mountain Tourist Resort

Zhuer Mountain Tourist Resort is located in Caijiagou Town in the northeastern part of Fuyu City. It is 2 kilometres west of Caijiagou Station on the Beijing–Harbin Railway, 1 kilometre east of National Highway 102, and 2.5 kilometres away from the Tongjiang–Sanya Expressway. Affiliated to Shentie Songyuan Sanjiang Port Industrial Group Co., Ltd., it is a national A-level scenic area.

The resort boasts abundant high-quality and diversified tourist attractions including Zhuer Mountain, the Lalin River and Ciyun Temple, which remain largely undeveloped for the time being. Zhuer Mountain stands on the southern bank of the Lalin River with an altitude of 199 metres, forming a distinct elevation difference with the river. The mountain is covered with thick forests dominated by larch, Scotch pine, poplar and elm trees. To its north flows the Lalin River with a channel nearly 500 metres wide, dotted with sandbars formed by sediment accumulation. The mountain and the river set off each other beautifully in distinct layers, presenting a uniquely charming riverside mountain landscape.

Ciyun Temple, the Buddhist temple inside the resort, covers an area of 3.3 hectares with a construction area of approximately 4,062 square metres. The core building is the Mahavira Hall, which spans 575 square metres. This two-storey main hall is flanked by two side halls. The Mahavira Hall features a stately, towering and magnificent appearance with an innovative structural design. The gilded Buddha statues inside are resplendent, serving as the venue for Buddhist rituals performed by monks and lay believers. In front of the Mahavira Hall stands the Heavenly King Hall covering 182 square metres, housing exquisitely sculpted clay statues of the Four Heavenly Kings with vivid, lifelike images. The Ksitigarbha Hall and Dharma Protector Hall on both sides of the Heavenly King Hall each occupy 42 square metres and are also used for religious ceremonies. The main structure of the Buddha Recitation Hall in the west courtyard has been completed. Funds are being raised actively for its interior and exterior decoration. Ciyun Temple was designated as a Key Cultural Relic Protection Unit of Jilin Province in 2015.

During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Shentie Songyuan Sanjiang Port Industrial Group Co., Ltd. will step up infrastructure construction in Zhuer Mountain Tourist Resort. It will keep improving the six key tourism services: catering, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment, so as to raise the reception capacity of the scenic area
