One-Day Tour: Southeast Flower Capital, Tea College & Tea Museum
Group pickup at around 10 a.m., followed by a visit to Southeast Flower Capital (4A-level scenic area), one of China’s three major flower capitals (about 3 hours for sightseeing). Nestled between mountains and rivers, the resort is filled with blooming flowers all year round. It features themed gardens and exhibition halls including Splendid Zhangzhou Garden, Palm Garden, Succulent Plant Pavilion and Shade Plant Pavilion, and is hailed as a "Subtropical Eco-Park with a constant temperature of 21°C".
After lunch, tour Tenfu Tea College. Founded with an investment of 250 million RMB by Mr. Lee Jui-ho, President of Tenfu Group and the "World Tea King", the college covers a land area of 1,270 mu with a construction area of 160,000 square meters. It is the world’s first institution of higher learning specializing in tea studies (tour duration: about 1 hour).
Later, visit Tenfu Tea Museum, a 4A-level attraction and the world’s largest tea-themed museum (tour duration: about 3 hours). Its exhibition zones include the Main Exhibition Hall, Japanese Tea Ceremony Hall, Korean Tea Ritual Hall, Calligraphy, Painting & Rare Stone Hall, etc. Visitors can learn about the origin and evolution of Chinese tea and appreciate professional tea art performances. It is a high-end professional tea museum with profound cultural connotations.
