Longwo Hot Spring

Longwo Hot Spring is 2.8 kilometres away from Lianghe County Seat, covering a total area of 1,226 mu. This geothermal resource is rare across the province and even the whole country. It ranks first in Yunnan Province in two aspects. First, it has the highest water temperature, exceeding 90 degrees Celsius. Second, it boasts the largest water flow, which remains steady at 100 cubic metres per hour all year round.

Numerous visitors come here for bathing and steam therapy in winter and spring. Locals have a saying: "A bath in Longwo Hot Spring cleanses your body, curing skin ailments, rheumatism, lumbago and all kinds of illnesses."

After more than three years of investment and development, Longwo Hot Spring has grown into a high-grade recreation centre integrating rehabilitation, convalescence, swimming, bathing, steam treatment and holiday services.
