The Royal Mausoleum of Shache covers an area of 1,050 square meters. Despite hundreds of years of vicissitudes, its wall decorations, building materials and structural layout remain as distinct as they were newly built.
In recent years, the local government and residents have built an independent mausoleum exclusively for Princess Amannisa Khan. This new structure is taller and more exquisitely decorated than the original royal tomb.
It is situated between the Han town and the Uyghur old town in the county seat, and still draws an endless stream of visitors up to this day.
