Mudanjiang — China Snow Town

After breakfast, depart from Mudanjiang City for China Snow Town. Along the journey, you will travel through vast forests and snow plains, admiring nature’s magnificent masterpieces. Experience driving along roads blanketed by pure white snow, and feel the thrills of driving on frozen rivers. Wander around the snow town, visit clusters of movie-and-TV shooting buildings and take plenty of photos.

Lunch: Dine at a local snow town household. Explore traditional forest dwellings and taste authentic mountain farmhouse cuisine. Do not miss the town’s specialties: mini potatoes and sweet corn.

After lunch, explore the snow town: Take sheep-drawn sleds and horse-drawn sleighs, ride alpine sightseeing vehicles across the snowland. Visit the snow sculpture park, snow maze and snow bar to fully appreciate the charm and grace of snow. Head to Shuangfeng Ski Resort to ski. Glide on skis and interact with the snow, and you will be filled with exhilaration and bold passion as if racing thousands of miles in an instant.

Next, visit the national-level snow sports training base — the famous Bayi Ski Resort of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, a top alpine skiing venue. If you are lucky, you may watch the training sessions of athletes from the PLA Bayi Ski Team, which will make your trip truly worthwhile.

Finally, take the coach back to Mudanjiang City.
