Tianjin Haichang Polar Ocean World is a large-scale open scenic spot with the theme of polar ocean culture established by Dalian Haichang Group with an investment of 3.6 billion yuan, integrating eating, housing, transportation, traveling, shopping and entertainment. The project is located in XiangLuo Bay Central Business District in Tianjin Binhai New Area, at the south bank of Haihe River, with the business center of Tang’gu District and the Bund Park across the river. It is divided into four complementary functional areas including polar aquarium, Finnish apartment, arctic business circle and Danish dream castle. Shaped like a swimming whale, the polar aquarium has a construction area of 4,7000 square meters, with the tallest building of 67-meter tall, is the largest polar aquarium with the most kinds and number of polar marine life in the world now. The polar aquarium is divided into nine exhibition areas, where Beluga whales, dolphins, polar bears, penguins, arctic foxes, arctic wolves and other 130 large polar marine animals, and over 30,000 sea creatures gathered.
