The Haicangwan Park next to Haicang Avenue covers an overall length of 5.85 kilometers and a total area of 160,000 square meters, boasting the longest linear park in Xiamen City. Numerous sculptures and landscape artworks in the Park are closely related to Haicang’s historical ocean culture and it is favorable to appreciate the sea all around the Park. Xiamen Children’s Park Phase I is also located at the side of Haicang Avenue. The coastal Children’s Park is equipped with 23 non-dynamic amusement facilities introduced from the UK, the US and other countries, including the world’s second and China’s first golden ghost pirate ship. In addition, Xiamen Children’s Park Phase II along Haicang Avenue will soon be officially launched for operation. At the end of Haicang Avenue lies Songyu Wharf with people coming and going which is the key hub for traveling in and out of Haicang and the only vital communication line leading to Gulangyu from outside Xiamen Island.

Airport Express Line 4 from the Airport to Songyu Wharf in Haicang District, Bus No. 805, 806, 818, 827, 828, 842, 846, 850, 852, 880 or 898 (express bus) are available. Self-driving routes:Route A: Xiamen downtown - Haicang Bridge - Dapingshan Tunnel - Binhu Road - East Binhu Road - Haicang Avenue Route B: From Zhangzhou to Haicang District: go from Xiamen-Zhangzhou Bridge to Jiaosong Road, and then go straight to Haicang Avenue along Jiaosong Road Route C: From Quanzhou to Haicang District: go from Shenyang-Haikou Expressway to Xiang’an and then follow Xiang’an lines to Haicang Avenue.
