Qiongmuganga Snow Peak stands at an altitude of 7,048 meters. Located in the western section of the Nyainqentanglha Range, it is the southernmost major peak of the mountain range. Boasting a grand and imposing massif, it features well-developed glaciers. In the Tibetan language, its name means the learned fairy.
Looking north from the Pusong Scenic Area and Nyemo Scenic Area within the park, you will see the snow-capped Qiongmuganga Peak, which is often shrouded in mist and clouds. On clear cloudless days, its horn peaks, arêtes, cirques and extensive glaciers come into full view. The snow peak set against the blue sky is truly breathtaking and inspires endless reverie.
