Qigeer Grassland, also named Qigeer Cloud Grassland, is tucked in the depths of the Eastern Tianshan Mountains in Qianshan Township, Yiwu County, Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It serves as the traditional summer pasture for local Kazakh herdsmen, an essential highlight on the Dunhuang-Yiwu self-driving tourist loop, matching the landscape charm of Kala Jun Grassland and Altai summer pastures with far fewer tourists.

Natural Landscape Features
Perched at a high altitude, the grassland features rolling undulating meadows carpeted with lush green grass, interspersed with dense dark pine forests on mountain slopes. Towering snow-capped peaks encircle the whole grassland, forming a stunning layered landscape of snow summits, coniferous woods, alpine meadows and azure sky携程.
Rich wild creatures inhabit this primitive ecosystem, including Mongolian gazelles, hares and foxes. Classic nomadic recreational activities are held regularly here: horse racing, goat grabbing, girl chasing and wrestling. At night, bonfire parties are popular among visitors.
