Overseas Chinese Ecological Park

Built with investment starting in 2008, the Overseas Chinese Ecological Park is located 2.5 kilometres southeast of Yongxing Village, the seat of Baoxing Township Government. It stands right beside the Shitou River, enjoying a favourable location and convenient transportation. With well-planned layout and quiet elegant surroundings, it is an integrated service facility featuring local rural culture and natural scenery that combines catering, accommodation and leisure activities.

The total investment of the project is 2 million RMB, covering a land area of 20,000 square metres. Up to now, 1.5 million RMB has been invested in completed facilities, including two swimming pools of 400 square metres each, a 700-square-metre circular fountain, a 350-square-metre barbecue house that can seat 100 diners at one time, a 270-square-metre farmhouse-style restaurant, a lotus pond covering 7 mu, a fishing pond spanning 6 mu, and five 30-square-metre lodging cabins.

In addition, an orchard and poultry farm for raising chickens, ducks and geese, covering 15,000 square metres, is under preparation. While relaxing, fishing and tasting authentic farmhouse dishes, visitors can also experience farming activities.
