Sanzhu Bridge is a flat-beam wooden covered bridge located in Xiawuyang Village, Sankui Town. It is 15.1 metres long, 4.47 metres wide, with a span of 10.1 metres. As its name suggests, the bridge gets the title "Sanzhu (Three Pillars)" from three stone pillars erected in the stream to support the wooden girders underneath the bridge deck. Propping up the girders with stone pillars effectively improves the load-bearing capacity of the wooden beams.
