The ruins of the ancient capital of the Loufan State lie one li northwest of Chengdonggou, Majiazhuang Township. The ancient Loufan State established its capital here during the Spring and Autumn Period. The city was later conquered by King Wuling of Zhao. Remnants of the city walls still remain today. Archaeological finds unearthed here include pottery, swords, halberds, bronze arrowheads and war horse skeletons dating back to the Spring and Autumn and Warring States Periods.
