Spot 8: Sanren Township, Suichang County
Route: Take buses bound for Wangcunkou or Dazhe from Suichang County seat, alight at Sanren Township Health Center, then walk toward Yanwu Village to view connected rapeseed fields spanning 400–500 mu across Yanwu, Xiang and Dajue Villages. The self-drive trip from downtown takes just over 10 minutes.
Highlights: Over 2,000 mu of dense rapeseed plantations in Sanren Township, plus an additional 1,000 mu scattered around Hushan Reservoir in Hushan Township. Rapeseed blooms from late March onward for more than 20 days.
Azaleas Blazing Crimson Across the Hills
Wild alpine azaleas (Yingshanhong) flourish across Lishui’s mountainous terrain. Numerous sites boast vast continuous stretches of these vivid red blossoms.
Spot 1: Taoyuanjian, Gaoping Township, Suichang County
Route: Exit the expressway at Suichang North Boundary, then drive toward Shimuyan Scenic Area to Chashuping Village, Gaoping Township. Road signs marking Shimuyan and Ten-thousand-mu Azalea Fields stand at the expressway exit. Gaoping Township sits over 60 kilometers from Suichang County seat; vehicles can drive halfway up the mountain to Chashuping Village, followed by a 30-minute hike to Taoyuanjian Peak.
Highlights: Taoyuanjian stands at 1,438 meters above sea level. Azaleas carpet the slopes starting at 1,200 meters elevation, forming an endless sea of crimson above 1,300 meters that stretches over 30 li. Blossoms will emerge around April 25, with peak bloom atop the summit around May 1. The full flowering cycle lasts roughly one month. Farm stays operate in the village, and visitors may dine at Taoyuan Natural Village.
Spot 2: Dayang Mountain, Jinyun County
Route: Jinyun County → Dayang Town → Dayang Mountain, around a 1.5-hour drive. The 15-li mountain road from Dayang Town to the peak includes unpaved segments.
Highlights: Azaleas of varied hues blanket Dayang Mountain from late April to early May.
Spot 3: Ruoliao, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → Ruoliao Primeval Forest (Nature Reserve), 50 kilometers from the county seat with daily direct shuttle buses to the scenic zone.
Highlights: The well-preserved primeval forest contains a thousand-mu sea of Rhododendron delavayi, a spectacular natural wonder. This year’s bloom commences mid-May and lasts more than two weeks.
Thousands of Pear Trees Burst into White Blossoms
Beyond delicate pink peach blossoms, pure white pear blossoms exude an ethereal, refreshing grace.
Spot 1: Yangjiatang, Youtian, Shangtian, Xiatian, Shangzhuang, Houwan, Songzhuang and Lingshang Villages, Sandu Township, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → villages of Sandu Township
Highlights: The drive unfolds pastoral "Pastoral Songyang" scenery, as Sandu Township develops into a pastoral photography destination. Around 5,000 mu of pear orchards bloom simultaneously near March 25, creating a mesmerizing sea of white blossoms.
Spot 2: Lotus-shaped Pear Base & Shanxu Village, Yangkengbutou Village, Dadongba Town, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → Dadongba Town → Hengzhangyuankou (Hahu) → Lotus-shaped Pear Base → Shanxu Village
Highlights: En route views of pastoral Songyang, with plum blossoms also blooming alongside pears at the base. The 500-mu orchard blooms around March 25.
Spot 3: Shitou Village, Chuanliao Town, Qingtian County
Route: National Highway 330 → Chuanliao Town → Dalu Village → Shitou Village
Highlights: Pear orchards complement a local specialty farm raising native chickens. 200 mu of pear trees flower in late March.
Spot 4: Zhoushan Village, Fushan Township, Qingtian County
Route: Qingtian County → Fushan Township → Zhoushan Village (before the township seat)

Highlights: A large-scale 1,000-mu orchard ideal for spring outings and flower viewing, blooming around late March.
Spot 6: Old Snow Pear Base, Baoshan Village, Yuanhe Subdistrict, Yunhe County

Highlights: This integrated 3,000-mu orchard grows citrus pomelos, pears, peaches and plums for simultaneous flower viewing. Full bloom arrives around March 25.
Cherry Blossoms in Lixin She Ethnic Township
Location: Lixin She Ethnic Township, Liandu District
Route: Downtown Lishui → Yaofan Village, Liancheng Town → Huanglingshang Village, Lixin Township (40 km of rural roads, roughly a 1-hour drive)
Highlights: A 50-mu wetland beside Moon Lake is covered with cherry trees, interspersed with peach and willow trees lining the shore. Pink peach blossoms and green willow branches frame a scenic "Cherry Blossom Island" wetland landscape. The blossom period falls mid-to-late April. Numerous surrounding farm stays offer convenient dining.
Redbud Blooms in Fuling & Shuige Industrial Zone
Spot 1: Jinshan Mountain, Fuling
Highlights: Thousands of mu of redbud flowers blaze vividly on Jinshan Mountain in Southern Lishui, marking the annual spring hiking, flower-viewing and mountain-climbing season.
Separated from downtown by a river, Fuling boasts picturesque floral vistas, serene ancient temples and lofty pagodas. Few mountains blend such vivid, exuberant blooms with tranquil, elevated spiritual scenery.
Spot 2: Shuige Industrial Zone
Highlights: Wild redbud shrubs carpet the hills surrounding Shuige Industrial Zone. Forestry authorities record over a hundred mu of wild redbud, concentrated on mountains alongside Shiniu Road and near the old Shuige Toll Station. Blooms are in full view right now, the prime viewing season.
Pale White Plum Blossoms in Full Bloom
Plum blossom season is ideal for spring outings, reconnecting with nature, seeking peace and crafting romantic moments.
Spot 1: Longkou Village, Yunfeng Town, Suichang County
Route: Songyang to Suichang (Provincial Highway 50) → Turn onto county road at Zhuangshan Roundabout to Longkou Village, Yunfeng Town
Highlights: A high-quality orchard growing Shengzhou flat peaches and plums. Nearby attractions include Suichang Gold Mine Scenic Area and Longkou Fishing Farm. The 150-mu base blooms around March 25.
Spot 2: Cangnongyuan, Sandu Township, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → Cangnongyuan
Highlights: 100 mu of plum trees and 10 mu of peach trees, beginning to bloom as early as March 15.
Spot 3: Yanxia, Nanshan, Zhenlongkou, Zhuxi, Pan, Qinglu and Donggangliao Villages, Xiping Town, Songyang County
Route: Songyang County → villages along the South River Ring Road around Xiping Town
Highlights: The city’s largest plum blossom base spanning 5,000 mu, presenting an incomparable vast white floral scene at full bloom. Blossoms emerge March 14 and persist until early April.
Spot 4: Tongshan Village, Lanju Township, Longquan City
Route: Liliang Expressway → Longquan Exit → Head toward Qingyuan → Lanju Township → Longquan Mountain direction → Huaguoshan Farm Stay
Highlights: The 400-mu orchard sits in Tongshan Village, Lanju Township, 12 kilometers from downtown with convenient transport. All main roads and sightseeing paths within the base are paved, and many farm stays operate nearby. Blossoms bloom around March 25.
Spot 5: Chonghewan Fruit Base, Houshan Village, Fenghuangshan Subdistrict, Yunhe County
Route: Exit Liliang Expressway at Yunhe → Yunhe County seat → Houshan Village, Fenghuangshan Subdistrict → Chonghewan Fruit Base
Highlights: A large-scale 2,000-mu plum blossom plantation with dozens of varieties and over 30,000 plum trees, entering bloom March 20.
