Tangjin Canal Eco-Tourism Resort is located in the southwest of Fengnan District, Tangshan City. The entire resort is threaded by the 25-kilometer-long Tangjin Canal, integrating leisure, entertainment, shopping and wellness activities under the core theme: "Canal Folk Customs Chronicle History, Sports Activities Radiate Vitality, Eco-Leisure Returns Us to Nature".
It houses a host of nationally renowned attractions: Oriental Dragon Paradise, China’s newest and most thrilling large-scale natural theme park; Canal Tangren Street, known as "Qinhuai River of the North, Tangren Street by the Canal"; and picturesque Huifeng Lake.
Huifeng Lake Park
Constructed with an investment of 110 million RMB, Huifeng Lake Park spans 1,500 mu, including an 800-mu lake with an average water depth of 2 meters. Its layout follows the classical Chinese garden principle of "one pond, three mountains", featuring three islands: Changchun Island, Yuezhi Island and Yongfeng Island. Yongfeng Island connects the lake’s eastern and western banks via Huqiao Bridge and Fengqiao Bridge. The lake overall takes the shape of a gourd, symbolizing wealth accumulation and auspicious energy convergence.
After completion, Huifeng Lake connects hydrological networks including Tangshan South Lake, Tangjin Canal, Mei River and Longquan River, forming an integrated ecological water system pattern of "two lakes and three rivers". On the northern lakeshore stand a water curtain movie screen and musical fountain. Stretching 200 meters long, the fountain features 11 distinct water spray patterns, with its central main jet reaching a maximum height of 100 meters.
