“Pattra”, the hotel’s English name, derives from Sanskrit, meaning “golden leaves that bring luck and happiness”. Its hot spring zone perches high on mountain slopes, earning it the title of high mountain hot spring — currently the highest-altitude hot spring in Guangdong Province. The hot spring zone contains 36 pools of varying sizes drawing from deep geothermal springs with underground temperatures reaching 75°C. The crystal-clear water is ultra-soft weakly alkaline spring water rich in metasilicic acid, sodium, zinc, copper, calcium and other health-boosting trace elements, acting as an all-natural remedy for health care and beauty skincare.

Located at the foot of Nankun Mountain, the resort enjoys a beautiful natural setting with rooms built tiered along mountain slopes. Guests staying in the highest building need two elevator transfers for a unique experience and unrivalled panoramic views. Two restaurants operate on-site: the Golden Hall Chinese Restaurant and Mingquan Western Restaurant, with an abundant selection of Western cuisine.

The entertainment centre offers affordable fun; table tennis costs 28 RMB per hour and receives positive feedback from most visitors. Many guests commented that check-in and check-out services are average, suggesting insufficient staff training and room for service improvement.
